I am new to real estate investing (i've never invested, but have decided that this is something that I want to be a part of and have begun learning and doing research on).

Currently I am cash flowing every month, and since moving out the home has appreciated almost $100k, while my loan has been paid down over $10k Lessons learned?

I signed up initially to learn everything I could about REI.

Just to add my two cents, I think the most important aspect to be a successful investor, in any market, is to have an excellent team in place that will help cut your learning curve significantly, help you to quickly identify the prime areas to invest in that market and manage your properties effectively!  

I live in Chicago and plan to buy my first house hack by end of year/beginning of next year.Looking forward to learn from all of you!

Hi Scott, I don’t know a whole lot about tax lien investing as but I have been learning a bunch about it I suggest you get yourself a copy of the 16% solution by Joel Moskowitz and then go to the tax collectors went for the county/s you are interested in and learn as much as you can.

You can get appreciation and equity and learn about being a landlord.

This is just for free and selfishly, I just want to connect with more investors and learn more about problems investors face in 2024.
