Getting Started wholesaling

Hello, Newbie here.

Just wanting to introduce myself and connect. I'm wanting to get into real estate and learn as much as I can. I'm a dedicated, hard worker and team player and would love to join a team where I could learn and be able to grow. I'm hesitant about getting a real estate license cause so many tell me that route is extremely tough and most real estate agents quit within the first year.

I know we've all heard about wholesaling and how it can make you money and help get things started when you have little to no capital, so ideally I would like to learn to wholesale to start out then flipping and buy and hold etc. I would be willing to work as someones VA or anything really just to get my foot in the door and learn as much as I can. If anyone knows of anything that could be helpful I would really appreciate it, Thank You!

Hey Danielle.

I'm going to go in a different direction than some of the other commenters.

I am an agent, and depending on your state, getting licensed can be a BIG commitment, both time- and cost-wise.

I wouldn't recommend getting licensed unless you want to work as a real estate agent, helping people buy and sell properties. The licensure coursework doesn't teach you anything about real estate.

I would also caution you to do a deeper dive into wholesaling. It's not the easy endeavor that the people on the videos make it seem like.
