You need to have some time freedom to respond when issues pop up, you need to be willing to self manage (there’s a learning curve but doable) and it’s definitely an active business, ie not as passive as LTRs.

In our company we occasionally send clients or people we work with "thnks" and they are e-gift cards to various places, often tailored to fit the season (ie, holidays) or a bundled product with a cute name ("Sweet Treat" THNKS might be a starbucks giftcard for the exact amount required to purchase a mocha and a cake pop).
