Find out who is paying the utilities; gas, water, electric, etc.

In the old tax system, my understanding was that home repair expenses could not be declared until the property is actually rented.

Gambling profits will continue to get watered down but room occupancy and food bev numbers are great. 

There is sewage and water lines provided by the county just a block over.

When it rains it works ok until it fills with silt and mid, clogs the pipe and then you got ankle high water in the drive way. 

Here in Denver we have someone who does new install, site finish, water base poly for around $7/ft.

The criminals get inside computer systems and send real emails with real info but wrong instructions.

We installed a water well, fencing, a compacted house pad, and built an $80k barn/workshop.Before we could start the house, I got laid off (oil & gas) and we converted about 1,000sf of the barn to living space.

Likely some systems updating as well, as long as they can act as GC and provide estimates.
