To me, it's more stress than it's worth if I can find a better solution.

It has saved me stress and money for pointless service calls.

For the most part they don't want to deal with the stress AGAIN or they wouldn't have given up in the first place, and then on top of that the 500 phone calls and mailers from realtors?

My partner and I stress-tested our model, and we could absorb 450-500 bps interest rate increase.  

I'm still optimistic and glad I persevered even when it got a bit stressful, and if I could advise anyone in my position I would say don't let setbacks get you down.

They'll end up with under market rent at some point, but I'd rather have continuity than the stress and cost that comes with a turnover.

Also during prep work prior to exam I stressed a bit more on the state portion.

I think REI is the same way ... useful to think through the scenarios and use them to stress test and improve our strategies, but in the end don't fool ourselves into thinking we know the way things are going to go down in real life.
