Hey all, We had a major medical setback and so we had to put the breaks on our building our investment group here in the Friendswood area. 

I would tell investors to find good property management companies in the midwest and buy houses in Iowa, Nebraska, and parts of Ohio where you can still turn a profit. yes I got the same conclusion, it all started in 2013, the appreciation outside California is indeed happening because CA and NY money (and WA too).Originally home price in some parts of CA/NY/WA is going up not because ordinary income, but coming from Tech/Research/medical company, well basically wall street.

@Aidan Richard Connly - I found this website where you can see the number of positions posted in your area to gauge demand for MTR for medical professionals.

When it's finished, we plan to use furnishedfinders.com to look for traveling medical professionals.

@Prem Rao  For MTR if you want to go after medical travelers, I think you want to be tied into that medical network before you buy. 

It sounds like your intention is to target traveling medical professionals since you mentioned your proximity to hospitals.

Our travel medical professionals also love a good easy to use coffee pot, bedroom fan, toaster, crockpot and fully stocked kitchen over all. 

We have arguably nine major universities, a couple dozen local community colleges, eleven medical schools, seven law schools, and eleven theology schools that attract tens of thousands of students every year that don't use movers for their mini fridge and futon.
