Why is that insurance agencies tie primary residence claims and refuse insurance for second home? 

I own an insurance agency and always wanted to own my own office and didn't need/want a lot of space.

I can't do both of those things at the same time, which is what dual agency would require.

Has anyone received any payment for the rents for their tenants from any of these agencies?

The deposit is in a escrow with the Title agency - would it be fair to assume that I will have to sign a release for the seller to actually get that money or will it be auto released to the seller.

Meanwhile, I would also consider researching whichever agency has authority over these contractors and have their complaint number, as well as the number for the Better Business Bureau cued up on your phone if you need to go that route.
