I crawled over FHA's website and can't find anything but the very superficial materials designed for mass-public consumption.This topic is of interest to me because I'm specifically interested in purchasing an FHA-insured loan for a duplex I have under contract.

I was at a remodelers meeting at the Alliant Energy Center a few years back and a kitchen designer told a story of how she is still doing oak kitchens when everyone else in the country is using other woods.

I pay for design myself, then bring in guys to bid.

Hello Tawanna,The NACA program is not designed to be either fast or easy, but the results are well worth it.

Thanks guys for all the help.A little more info about me.I work in interior  design and can design/spec items for remodeling, a family member is a general contractor so that is taken care of.

It can annoy and even cause an injury if a tenant tries to walk through outside of your timer-designated times.I've considered motion sensor lighting but I haven't found products hardy enough to not be stolen/broken, so I've gone with always-on LED lighting.  

Otherwise there's minimal energy usage as opposed to a tank design that's trying to keep water in the tank at a set temperature.  

I also love the idea that I will not need to hold a designation to work with commercial real estate as well.

I have an architecture background with a masters in sustainable design and would like to get involved with larger scale development projects.

What if I want to build using container designs?
