I have added LVP flooring, done painting to the outside of my house, upgraded the bathroom vanities and light fixtures, and added quality ceiling fans.

I like the wood ceilings. 

They can die inside walls and ceilings causing a smell for months.

It is all open with high ceilings. 

We saw one that had been 'legally' converted & hidden above the bare minimum height drop ceiling was the entire garage door & mechanicals for it so I assume the down track rails were buried behind the new window trim.

After additional analysis the costs to renovate these properties are cost prohibitive given the shallow value ceiling and lack of quality renters or buyers.
