Hi everyone, just curious as to how many people pick up SF from auctions like hubzu, auction or tax sales at courthouse.

I think a commercial building with rental units make sense in Brewerytown because I think the demand for commercial space will pick up.

I believe experience in picking out the best (possible) responsible tenants from this crowd would be tremendously valuable.

Water bills used to be around $90, but now with all the suburbs having to pick up the slack for all those in Detroit that don't feel the need to pay their own water bills, the price went up.I'd look at companies that come out and sub meter and start changing your lease to include tenant paid water, or a monthly limit. 

I called her the night before she was suppose to be out to arrange picking up the keys.

To time the market for a 1031 is a double edged sword and you kind of have to pick your druthers.
