Even though I seem to be in the minority, whenever I see a listing that says no pets I consider it a plus, because it means my family won't have allergy or smell problems when we arrive.

Basically, pound the pavement and pick up the phone.And, just to be blunt - we are not in a cash flow market right now unless you use some kind of creative strategy.  

I think my take away is instead of running around like a madman is to send out letters to what I think will be a good list, beef up my website and hold some meetups.
