You can ask for telephone numbers as well, but don't be surprised if you do not get those; many tax offices do not have that information.

Michelle - be sure to take Tony's advice - that is really key in this biz - you will be surprised how your volume will increase as you mail them the 2nd through 6th time.I do something a bit different and I do change the copy each time - meaning the message I send does get a bit more urgent - but they all look the same - that is very key - repetition.

You'd be surprised how narrow the gap is once you figure in that the lower-income guy pays no income tax and gets a huge earned income tax credit payment each year (could be thousands), plus is probably eligible for food stamps and other giveaways.3:1 is kind of industry-standard, but you should at least take a look at their other debts and obligations.
