We have natural gas being installed later this week with two meters and will be putting two boilers in to be able to separate the two units heat and hot water.The problem is that our tenants lease is up this coming month and the boilers will not be done in time.

I will have to pay for the water because it’s not separate meters.

I'm looking for alterative solutions to separate my physical self from having to collect the cash payments. 

I read about the lack of separation between myself and the 6 plex based on myself doing most of the work. 

I think it would be much too large of an investment to have lockers/separation enough to allow people to be coming and going from your basement at all hours.
