I'm in a medical center area and military relocations are common (I give them discounts).

hello all,I started out in the DC area as a birddog and moved on to wholesaling with partners, before being relocated to the VA Beach area in the height of the market in 2006.

A great deal of my business in the past year has been helping clients relocate to or invest in East TN from other parts of the country.

I am a Houstonian recently relocated to the Cleveland area just NE of Chattanooga and was wondering if anyone can give me insight into the market here.

.- The agent said the sellers were motivated because of a relocation to another state.- I offered $18k under asking and they did not even counter which surprised me since inventory is extremely low in the area.

My company will be relocating me back to LA and I am tired of renting.

Given how close we build now on the water, it won't take much.The Midwest will benefit over the next decades if droughts and floods continue to be a concern for people; we already see this with relocation clients.  

She is able to relocate if needed , so we are not restricted to any one area or state and she can also help financially as well as being the person on the ground to keep an eye on things. 

She was able to price the home to sell within a short amount of time so that my family could relocate across the country.

.@ More generally, I decided not to pursue this deal as I realized a couple things:1) I asked some folks involved with the manufacturing facilities where newly relocated coworkers chose to live and realized these workers are actually buying in established communities in nearby suburbs (i.e. inside the Grand Parkway 99 loop) instead of moving out to the exurbs closer to their work.2) Existing zoned schools are admittedly not great at present, and future plans of close-by MPC's won't get to the areas I'm looking to invest for another decade or so.
