BTW I will be renovating three of the units kitchens and floors, and refreshing the other surfaces, so these will be a notch or two above the market for my price point.  

For example, I've had the same granite/quartz installer make and install countertops for the last 7 or 8 kitchens I have been involved with, and I didn't even bother getting any other quotes after the first time.Hopefully I choose the right contractor this time, and will have a new team member to count on for my next projects.

One good idea I've gotten from a landlord friend is to develop a laminated form that has contact information, due dates, etc. and staple it into a kitchen cabinet.

They even painted 2 year old kitchen cabinets .

For example, he volunteered to hang a spice rack in the kitchen pantry that I have not had time yet to install. 

I just got home and a little light on one of the power outlets in the kitchen is blinking red.

And the kitchen cabinet carcasses ought to be nice and organized (you didn't forget about the 2' grid did you?)

I have only ever done kitchens with dishwasher adjacent to the sink.
