Has anyone ever bought second hand granite and installed it?

The condo was a dump, but I put granite counter tops in the kitchen, watched youtube videos on how to install tile and backsplashes.

Also we do not need the chimney anymore. we are installing high efficiency furnace and water heater.

@Andrea Jones if installed properly they are a great idea and look good.

But as @Darren Sager said, it's worth it not to have the tenants calling me about the heat, since I'd have to call PSE&G anyway.We installed a new furnace in our other Trenton property and used Precision Air in Trenton.

They've spent the past couple weeks trying to convince me to let them pay to put a fence in the backyard so they can purchase and install an above ground pool, so I'm feeling pretty good that they have the money to pay rent this month!  

So, I paid for a new water heater and installed it.
