My brother is a teacher and looking to house hack.

We know it's going to be a house-hack of some type. 

I’ve got a duplex under contract in my city. 9% seller carry back negotiated and the other 11% of the down payment is being covered by me.I own one other property, a house hack, but bank won’t loan me money because I don’t have enough collateral.

I also like the idea of house-hacking multifamily properties.

I'm already 35 y/o and wish I had done this sooner but it is what it is.Among the many niches, rental properties struck a chord with me because of the potential for passive income and generational wealth.Then I came across house hacking which I thought was a great way to pay for the mortgage.

Since I’ll be settling down to an area longer than 8 months, I’m looking to get started on my real estate journey, first with a house hack.
