Wondering if there are any real estate investing events/meetups in the Cedar Rapids /Iowa city area??

Therefore I am looking for meet ups, networking events, workshops, etc. to help me get to know more like minded people in my area.

The entire event was a blast.

After months of searching for properties I've identified a multi-family that perfectly fits my criteria but due to life events (getting married and my future wife and I bought a primary residence) I'm short of the typical 20% down payment that most lenders are requiring since I will not be occupying the property.

Does this agent have any interest in being a panelist/speaker at any local events?

In the event it's ever vacant it would take a huge amount of work to make it attractive.
