Can three owners sell their current property and 1031 exchange it as Joint Tenants into another property.Do we need to change title to Tenants in Common or anything like that?

Isn’t this abandonment and can’t she go in and change the locks after a certain amount of time?

It sucks , it’s expensive , it’s dirty and subject to oil price changes .

Is there a way to put it in the contract that I can still do it but the agreed upon purchase price will not change reguardless?

No profit or loss on this transaction since nothing has changed with property in the few weeks since sale.Here is the concern:There is an IRS lien on the property junior to the foreclosed loan, so the IRS has a 120-day right of redemption.
