Some places (this one) itemize the fees out, start with a normal interest rate, and give you the choice to bump the rate to absorb them.Others have fewer 203k fees, but have a pre-jacked-up rate, that you can buy down with discount points in lieu of calling it fees.

I would focus on exterior appearance through siding choice, landscaping, and as everyone else has already mentioned, putting more focus on the entry. $1500 in landscaping would be much more well spent than paying someone to come and frame new openings and drywall/paint work.I will however say that I'm not a huge fan of your choice of colors for the new siding.

Of course it’s a highly undesirable situation but I was left to make a choice out of a bad scenario.I have been project managing everyday remotely, buying all the materials and having them delivered and trying to monitor the work as closely as possible.
