I am really not too worried, I am in a 1% vacancy market in a very 'Hot' area of town.As I was leaving the property last night, I see a cat in the window.  

For a few of the multi-familys and a couple commercial projects, I commisioned art murals by very highly professional muralists to do large blank walls both interior (like the middle landing on a switch-back staircase) and exterior... usually trompe l'oeil painted-on windows and architectural features that weren't actually there.It was always wildly well-received and created a bit of a buzz, having articles written with photos in the local paper, and we were chosen to do a special small but high-profile project that was on local cable TV. 

From "I mailed my check, I don't know what happened" to "I don't how that window was broken" to "I don't know who through that keg into the front yard".  

Then to preparation, framing, easy roofing, then installing windows and doors, painting, trim work, etc.

It's just a collection of 0/1 bits.Even just with simple tools, you can crop the text out of some images using the Windows Paint applet, for example, though that may not leave enough image to still be useful, depending how much text and other "stuff" was added.

Vinyl windows weren't around in the 1950s, it was all wood back then and wood rots.

And if the bedroom window doesn't have a fireescape ladder (which might be off the living room) then I I'm not sure it would be allowed.
