I'm hoping to stay in the lower and rent out the upper.My credit is around 600...that coupled with the mid remodel makes it tough to find traditional lenders.

Either way keep in mind how touchy some municipality workers can be emotionally lol always approach every meeting/ phone call with a ton of kindness, & politeness.. it makes a world of a difference here.

@Anita Fulton that is a huge valuation on a home in the Houston area and at that price point it is really tough to nail down an exact value, are there any comps in your neighborhood?

@Brandon Stafford Aloha mate, thats a tough one see with more time you can do more in the real estate section but with more money you can buy other peoples time to do more in real estate.

Currently getting my feet wet on the wholesale side of things out in Denver, CO, which is looking to be a pretty tough market.

It would be really helpful.Thanks, BPI'll echo the sentiments others have expressed - if you haven't learned how things are are built, or are just starting out, it's tough to get any trades to work with you for anything less than premium rates.  

Finding 1-4 units is a little tough right now.

@Roger Brogan I am all for taking action, but to self manage a property an hour away could be a tough way to  learn some lessons.

@Ronan DonnellyI’m glad you mentioned that because, it will be tough, not sure if I want to use that 1k to pay off debt in 2 months or not and buy a engagement ring haha.
