I live in Brooklyn but Queens and Long Island are my top choices because they're closer to home and more affordable.

I am thinking of buying an affordable house living in it for about a year, move out and use that property for a rental.

My accounts aren't old enough t get approved for higher limits such as 25k and up.

Good mix of affordable houses and pretty solid rents.
