Although some would see retirement as being further than I, it's also about wanting more than the current situation may/may not offer.I have a better than new-understanding of a lot of things after reading up on many topics over the years in RE and owning and participating in my initial owner-live-in/owner-investment property.

Despite the proximity to SUNY, the area immediately surrounding the main campus isn't filled with students, most of them live closer to downtown in the 'student ghetto.'

Depending on your age (up to 35 for Canada, and 31 for Australia I believe) you can participate in a Travel and Work type of program in those two countries.

Funny how many of these so-called guru seminars end up being sold on eBay and craigslist - at a fraction of the price - by former students who gave up on trying to make these methods work, or on trying to get a refund.
