The tub was the type that also had the side walls as one entire piece so along with the tub that was cut out was the walls as well.I contacted the home insurance and was later told that they were unable to cover any costs associated with the replacement because it was considered "over a period of time damage" and not sudden.I was well aware of how to demo all of the old tub and to clear out the area but after that my youtube education began.

I've studied enough and have listened to enough podcasts to understand the general idea around wholesaling but feel I lack the step-by-step way to go about it and simply, the push to getting started (it can feel like you don't know "enough" to be "ready" to get started, you know?).

If the counter layout just has straight sides (no corners), you can buy 8' wide sections of basic laminate counters for under $100 in stock at a lot of stores and cut them to the length you need.

Yes, I know that Phil has a program whereby he recommends getting properties under contract at cheap wholesale prices, and simply list them on the MLS and sell your "vested interest" to retail Buyers.

In my opinion, any savings you would obtain from doing anything other than continuing to rent in your current situation is simply cost avoidance.
