I guess my question is how would you structure a lease in this situation where they all communally pay for the whole house together, equally, but do not all have equaly "skin in the game" when it comes to security. any feedback would be so appreciated, thank you  

Good afternoon, I'm reaching out today trying to get some advice on where I should begin my real estate journey, I've been listening to the podcast for a while now and want to get some skin in the game but am unsure how to start.

I don't qualify for an FHA loan so this would be a benefit to me and her down payment would put her "skin in the game" on the partnership.

Price appreciation is also still moving along at a healthy clip here.

"Skin in the game" will become more important to lenders in uncertain times.

I figured as the borrower you would need to fund it in order to have skin in the game. 

Cats that are fixed and healthy shouldn't be spraying.

Because these people here, know who is putting in that work, and they know who is investing in themselves, and putting their own skin into the game, as the saying goes.  

On this I think we can both agree: that no one should ever be called a name based on the color of their skin or other characteristic.

You can spin it and get creative with financing but REI requires skin in the game.
