The mortgage company just cares that you have the money to repay the 2nd mortgage AND that their is equity in the house to secure the 2nd mortgage.If he is recommending that so you can document your self-employment income, that is a different story.

I usually prefer the ones that wedge to the inside and then you also secure the flange to the subfloor with screws.

Granted this is expensive money 12 to 13% on the first lien but, I turned to the MLS and ran a report of high end properties that had been on the market for and extended period of time and the sellers have already expressed a willingness to allow creative financing.

I am going to get my securities license so that I don’t have to worry about any violations on a national level, as there are some states that require this type of licensing, that being the case I have a colleague that hold such a license and is willing to act as the broker in the transaction.I have 3 almost 4 years in residential mortgage origination, although, I have moved away from that area of lending since the market collapse.
