At least the really bad analyses are good for some occasional entertainment.I also had a wholesaler once...or maybe they were just an outright scammer...who wanted me to make my earnest money check payable to them instead of to the title company.

I am open to other locations if it meets my criteria, ideally I'd like to invest somewhere I wouldn't mind visiting occasionally and a little closer to CA would be preferable.It's a challenge to invest out of my market, in a place I don't live and I am looking to Bigger Pockets members, forum posts and podcasts to figure the process out and find a property!

Most tenants pay using the link in the e mail, some have set up automatic payments, and occasionally someone will click on the pay link on my website to pay rent or an app fee.I am not ok with $3/ transaction fee that other companies are charging, and Cozy looks tempting but tedious.

It was almost as though it was harder to sell since I owned it free and clear because at that point it didn’t really feel like it was a burden any more since I didn’t owe the bank anything, yet it really still was because it was hindering my success at real estate.I mean, I personally know people who spend $10,000 every year for flights, lodging, car rentals, and entertainment on a wild, extravagant vacation with their kids.
