Both of our fathers' have great knowledge in flips, rentals, and new construction and have been doing that for the last few decades.

I find that my instinct is to ignore posts/books/podcasts about flipping or wholesaling since I do not want to do either of those things, yet when I do listen to these topics I find that it better arms me for my niche or interests and ends up being very enriching.

Kinda consider it a practice run to start flipping houses in my area.

If you’re looking for flips, you’re going to want to connect with as many wholesalers and agents as possible.

Buy/hold, flips, etc? 

I want to buy this property to flip, so I have no interest in creating a lease with current tenant. 

Flipping houses is also fine, but it will teach you very little about apartments. 

Based on our goals, we will be flipping but do have plans for multi family rentals in future.

We also will have around 7 more SFR's within the next 8-10 years that will not require any out of pocket funds from us aside from legal fees to transfer ownership.I would like to begin focusing on flipping after summer of 2018 to build some larger cash reserves for purchasing more LTR's.
