Then you have to find a replacement that might be worse (or better maybe) very time consuming.

They are expensive, time consuming and inefficient.

BLUF: it's okay to use USAA if you are going to house hack as a method of scaling your real estate investment business...I would recommend finding a lender that understands your need beyond the normal consumer level services. 

I have a full time W2 job that is very demanding and time consuming, but I wanted to pursue my goals of real estate investing.

The feeling has consumed me, but I think it’s good because the regret feels worse than the anxiety. 

I am a big advocate to manage your vacation properties yourself if you can but it’s more time consuming for sure.

@Caroline GerardoPrivate lending law is much more related in CA than other states as is the foreclosure process much lengthier and supportive of consumer protection at all costs.

May be pay through your credit card to have some consumer protections in case if you are defrauded.
