There's nothing more frustrating than paying cash for a piece of property, equipment, vehicle, only to have a lame deduction to go along with it.

Also, since your current house will not already be rented, so you would be qualified on the basis of being able to afford both the houses and the requirement of having enough cash reserves.So, as long as you do occupy the new house in a timely manner then it should be all good.

But after several years of hit & miss frustration they decided to convert it into retirement living for 4-5 active & 'with it' elderly ladies.
