There are lots of properties left over from the late night tv sales programs that do not have water and or sewer available.  

I have seen so many people by into the "gurus" whether it is through books or the late night tv infomercials.

And tenant screening is key when you know how to do it right.

It takes time to mange a property i.e, finding & screening tenants, making small repairs, collecting rent and the list goes on.Hope it helps.

Since you know your time is going to be more scarce soon and you've had your nightmare tenant experience already you might want to take additional precautions when screening tenants.

I think it's one of the easier (and better) tenant screening services out there.

It does need some cleanup and the owners don't want any of the furniture, dishes, TV's etc. left by the employees.

If they are on a month to month lease, give them a 30 day notice and get some tenants in there that you screened.

I am a newbie landlord and am going to list my property soon.When i get all the applications, I'll want to check up & screen previous landlords, where do i verify that person is actually the landlordand not a brother-in-law type thing ?
