Are you saying that a public company couldn't purchase a Fannie property because the 90-day restriction would be broken every time someone trades their shares (buys or sells a portion of the company)?

The other big risk is leaving your company, which will increase with the longer time frame.I think the "double tax" aspect of the 401K loans is overstated since it only impacts the interest portion of the payments.
