Many variables involved including amount of maintenance fees and how large of a debt/LTV you are leveraging4. 3 bedroom is better than 2 and 2 bedrooms is better than 1Not always.. depends on how passive you want to be.. definitely for a non condo yes it should be minimum 3 bedroom.. 3 bedroom condo can be an option if you are willing to rent out separate rooms.. takes a bit more work but your rental income should be higher vs having a single tenant to occupy the whole property.. you can also rent rooms with a 2 bed unit.. but if you want to be passive with a single tenant you should go for the oh so popular 1 + den with 2 baths..5. see markets 1 hour outside of Toronto -- check Hamilton, Guelph, Cambridge, maybe even LondonGreat options as all of those markets are hot at the moment.. should consider Niagara Region as well6. houses are better for appreciation but will be more work and more expensiveIn general yes..
