Most seem designed for maximizing cashflow.Any feedback on USAA as a lender for this kind of purchase?

Oregon is not an attorney closing state.. you simply need to bring you cash into escrow close then resell.pass through escrows are not really done there.. title company wants your funds wired in.. also not that you could be touched being out of country.. but selling a property you don't own in Oregon is not legal. title co. wont care.

You have terms in the lease that are legally required to be followed by ALL parties and if you do not shift to a business owner mindset from your current "past home" you will not manage your business in a professional manner.

Investing passively on a syndication is another great way to get exposure to the documentation that goes into a deal - on the underwriting side, debt/equity, legal disclosures, closing documents, etc.
