We don't allow dogs in our upstairs apartment above our commercial building because the flooring is hardwood and it causes way too much noise.

It may be that noise transfers easily through the units.

If anyone needs advice on anything to do with aviation (low flying planes, aircraft noise issues, etc) let me know, that's my speciality!!

And really, if you were looking for a place to rent, would you be happy to rent a place where the landlord is going to be there making noise after you move in, putting in landscaping?

@Lucas Carl I understand you want to ignore all of this as the economy grinds to a halt, and that’s fine but to assume there’s no way to predict any of this and how it will play out is just wrong.Using past data, current data and some basic math you can see how it will likely play out.

Keep grinding.

So what I would do is maybe buck it into logs and stack them neatly for later use, buck it into smaller sections that can be hauled out of there reasonably, or just pay a shredder to come turn it into mulch and grind the stump while he was at it.

It does take time and it is a grind.

Now that I am 53, have two minor children and am have been working the dreaded 9 - 5 grind for way too many years, I am eager to make much needed changes to achieve more personal and financial freedom.

I own an upper/lower and it can be loud for downstairs and been contemplating putting carpet in the bedrooms in the back just to deaden noise for privacy.
