This is making me think the people most affected could be people like my mother who have a couple of properties that they hold for extended periods of time creating over time with massive appreciation over 30+ years.

After closing we notified the lease holder that their month to month lease would not be extended.

Watching how this eviction moratorium keeps getting extended with more and more stipulations regarding eviction, I would honestly be relieved having the flexibility of a month-to-month, just in case. 

We gave him a repayment plan which he signed the last day of August and the governor announced they were extending the Moratorium by 45 days a couple of hours later.

If the moratorium keeps getting extended I plan on letting my tenant's lease default to a month to month (per our contract) and not renew for another 1 yr contract.  

Midway through the year, my partner and I transferred the properties to our LLC (same ownership structure 50/50) because our commercial lender could extend a line of credit behind them if we bundled them into a portfolio loan.

We are exploring options to challenge what is clearly a misguided policy and overstep of County authority and are committed to making sure these provisions aren’t extended further or made permanent.

I did see an extended vacancy in one of my units at the beginning of the pandemic when everything was shut down (March 2020).

Is 60 days enough notice or should I extend this?
