We have talked to both existing lenders who say that transferring the title will trigger the DOS clause and while I don't expect them to hang out at the county recorder's office or do searches on a regular basis, it does bring into question the whole topic of insurance.

I highly doubt any such law exists in any other state either as far as sales price, but check it out in your state to be safe.

I am buying two duplex's which are currently rented, what is the rule or law when dealing with security deposits?  Does the previous owner need to give me their security deposits or are they allowed to keep it?
