Being smart with your shared furnace & $

Curious, as it's starting to get colder here, I'm thinking about when I will fire up my furnace for my four family and what temperature to set it to. When do you other landlords fire up your furnaces and what temp do you set them at? I am pretty sure the law says I have to provide a home that maintains a temperature somewhere in the upper 60's, but that seems frigid. As usual, want to find the happy medium where residents aren't opening their windows since it's too hot, but also don't want them freezing. What are some tips to save money on your heating bill for a four family and when do you fire them up ?

Dude - this means you're paying gas. Bad move in CInci winters and gas prices.

Be sure you put in a high-efficiency boiler...
