That way you end up with a piece of something rather than either nothing or all of a dog you cant control.I do like the idea of a 4 plex in that area, I am a MSU Law grad, but declining population and deferred and poorly understood maintenance issues is a recipe for disaster if not properly analyzed.

If you are thinking of buying a starter home just for you and your dog or something mines well go bigger and get more units.

In our area homes similar to ours are renting for around $850 , we've put ours at $800 without a pet and $850 with one dog .

And then you have the big dogs playing in the 100+ unit space, which is hard to compete with.
