Even if you work your butt off for 6 months you may not have a deal yet, because consistent deals come from consistent marketing, and you really need to have substantial dollars to pay for multiple marketing channels as well as the resources to work all the leads.

I had about 1600 sq ft. of attic space, and was getting quotes in the $1,500 range, but I only spent $500 for bags of insulation (machine rental is free at HD), and got my brother in law to feed the machine while I was up in the attic with the hose.
