And if the property was purchased with a variable rate mortgage, or with a balloon reset, then the fun may have just begun.

That can be a great way to grow the value without being invested in the Wall Street casino. 

So much fun being a landlord sometimes!

We have been made plenty fun of by our friends who say we are like an 'old married couple'.

Join a REI group, take on a home projects for family or friends, watch the market in your area, tour other apartments or houses for fun.

Our state's (and Las Vegas') largest employer is MGM Resorts, and the other casinos are a huge source of employment as well.

It's fun to think about the number units needed to reach X goal, but it's scary knowing the difficultly of that in 2020. 

If you could slowly increase value on the $150K homes (probably more likely than the 300K home) than this would act more like a nice multi-family.You are probably young and energetic enough to tackle whatever comes your way, so go with your gut and have fun!

So I guess for now its something I have been wanting to do for a while... for fun, personal use and having it pay for itself is a way to make it happen.
