I'm talking like a d minus area practically the projects. so by the time we get married we should be able to buy a condo with cash in a great area. what we really want is a duplex in a great area but they are about 3 times more expensive then the condo.

I'm starting to look into online advertising to see if the ROI is better there. 

First things first - 50 K is good money to do lot of things , These "things" might not be just exactly buying a house , but you should try to know what is the best use for that 50k which will give you a reasonable return /break even / slight loss - but the most important thing is , After that project you should gain some practical knowledge abt investing in US Another important thing that I learnt - never take anything that anyone say here as an absolute thing. we all have our blind spots and biases .

Hi, I am looking to build a rental portfolio this year and was looking for some referrals for a good CPA and attorney who are real estate savvy.i have tried to find some online, but none are real estate-friendly. any suggestions?

There is a lot of free information online (CPAs and business attorneys in particular will often talk about the differences between them in blog posts). 

I imagine most buyers do find their house online, but probably an MLS listed house that shows up on all of the search engine.If you aren't in a hurry to sell, give Zillow a couple weeks/month and seen what happens.
