I went to my 1st REIA meeting.....I felt like I was at a guru session, guy wanted $1000 for a 3 day class on how to be a REI....I met with an attorney, next is a loan officer.

The management office sent this message to me:"The tenant is very nice person and she is trying to get caught up on the rent.

Thanks Charlie,We love that state but need to get situated in Ohio first haha.Lots to do here and we haven't even scratched the surface.I can always just see through all of the rubble and dream about the potential that city has.Maybe I am just spending too many hours in the office or something and getting disillusional hahaThanks mate and have a great weekend :)

Find the person  that will help you and understands that your time is valuable.I have been calling offices and asking the receptionist if there is any agent available that works with a real estate  investors.

Hi Everyone,I remember walking into a Agents office in Scottsdale a few months ago, and they had 3-4 people on the phone, burning through entire zip codes asking if the home owner was interested in selling. 

Honestly, I'm going to call another agent at a different office and get a second opinion. 

Sounds like a good question to ask an attorney or your fair housing/real estate commission/housing office about. 

@Brandon Turner - Florida works pretty much the same as Washington State, though in some cases Attorney's offices perform the same functions (in my experience, this is more common with REOs).
