Nice to meet someone in a similar situation (currently househacking, recovering ex-consultant, also hoping to quit the 9-5 at some point in the near-ish future, and looking for properties in similar parts of town).

I love the town, but that market is ridiculously expensive- IMO it is insanely overinflated right now and when it crashes it will be a blood bath.

I have come across a 5 unit apartment complex in a college town  off the market currently. 

I own two single family homes right next to each other in a small town outside of Ottawa, Canada.  

Location is pretty important to us, so we're exploring every angle we can.

Our realtor who also acts as our property manager is out of town, so looking for a handyman who can help us with these repairs.
