What type of houses/buildings are you focusing on?

In Chicago, there are management companies that focus exclusively on subsidized housing since it eliminates the rent collection issues, and this could be an interesting play in SB. 

I want to get started in real estate investing, but I worry about making my entire portfolio 100% focused on real estate.

When you're starting out you may want to focus on the real estate itself rather than focusing on the nuances of financing terms and conditions.

That is risky in itself.It would seem a lot wiser to take those individual retirement plans and invest them into something they can each do independently such as smaller properties, trust deeds, crowdfunds focused on real estate based assets, or the like.

Focusing on Texas Tennessee and Kentucky.

Someone that focuses on that area instead of dabbling in it? 

Anyone have any suggestions on some of the better places to target my focus on?
