The downsides are the high barrier to entry and time it takes to close, but the re-sale value is always high and time it takes to sell is unusually quick (about 75 days on average), but my listings usually enter contract in under a month.

If these areas are stellar, the incident may have been an unusual occurrence. 

The only thing I was considering reporting was the fact that it was a very strange interaction and highly unusual that someone would respond in the way that he did.

One apartment had everything needed, was unusually well maintained, a great location, very generous square footage, nice bathrooms, and plenty of natural light.

If the tenant takes an unusually long time to get to the door and/or opens it only a crack when they see you, there could be something going on that they don't want you to see, such as breaking property rules... unauthorized smoking, unauthorized pet, unauthorized occupants, etc.7.
