There is no particular correlation between math and finance.The only truly honest goal I heard during the whole ceremony was the guy that said simply he wanted to be "self sufficient", that actually was the one I thought was closest to reality and had a ring of a realistic goal with parents.

My parents are blue collar immigrants.

Lots of us went to school (lots of school) without parental support / loans.

I like girls because they tend to party less heavily and there is a tendency for the parents to be interested in where they are living.

We often get student's parents asking about paying in a semester, term or annual rent in exchange for a small discount.  

I have done this in the past only used my parents.

So a 3 bedroom for $1500 a month and having there parents to sign the agreement as well.

I'm not in rentals now but I personally would shy away from the idea for these reasons:-Vacancy in the summer time-College kids partying and trashing your units-Potentially unstable income (Part time jobs coupled with full time school, borrowing money from parents to pay bills, etc).As I said, I am NOT in rentals so I cannot speak from experience.
