Usually the part that trips most people up is having more than half their hours in real estate.

Regardless I'm planning a trip to the 30a area to explore and learn about your local market . 

We did a house where the lady - a 3-pack/day smoker - sat in her favourite chair in the corner of the living room and smoked for the last 20-yrs of her life.  

I was looking into investing out of state and took a trip to a couple cities in the midwest.

Take day trips there and make a list of places you think you might be willing to live.

No trips. 

If you go to a 2 or 3 day masterclass or conference that will most likely be JAM PACKED with information overload, I highly recommend giving yourself the next day off or adding one more day on your trip.

As an owner of rental property and an owner of a tow behind camper this thought has crossed my mind several times. ...but when I think about how much work it is to prepare myself for a camping trip, and how much has gone wrong with my multiple campers in the past it doesn't feel worth my time for a couple hundred dollars. 

The intruder never knows they tripped an alarm.When all is said and done and you have a new tenant, but the system back in its tote, turn of the monitoring and forget about it until you need it again.

If you're handy, the quantity of separate trips and vendors/ licensees and their corresponding bills  to take care of every little thing will drive you nuts.
