Amazon coming into the FR area, Tiverton coming in with a Casino so the southcoast market is looking promising where you can still buy multi's for 30-35k a door, even better in some cases.

@Miles Curtis - I would develop relationship with a qualified CPA at this point and NOT rely on TurboTax or such accounting software.

Jason works full time in the software industry and we also run an Automation/Software Consulting company where we help other businesses run their operations more effectively, efficiently and profitably.  

I'm mostly interested in buy/hold 2-4 units to create cashflow. however I'm not sure what city to start. at first i was strong on Troy NY but after doing some research i realized it has a lot of vacancies, old abandoned buildings, and lack of jobs. i was also interested in Schenectady NY because of the casino but I'm not sure if i want to bank on that for the a city's financial future.
